Here are some tips to help you choose the best dog for your company airplane flight.
* Do not buy a company law before having to use it, buy at least a week before hand to give your dog time to get used to it. Many people buy dog carriers on its way to the airport and then wonder why your dog is not going to enter it.
* Do not feed your dog 6 hours before boarding the plane and keep the water at least one hour before departure. If the dog has a full stomach, you could do a trip very uncomfortable for them or even an accident during the flight.
* When flying with your dog, be sure to arrive early enough to have extra time to pass through security.
* Make sure you do your research before traveling. Some airlines require that you have an extra form completed by the veterinarian.
* All airlines are different, sure to check with your airline for different rules regarding animals in the cabin and the extra fee associated with it.
* Not every carrier airline dog is adopted. Not all airline approved dog carrier working in each airline. Be sure to check out the regulations and requirements of the airline that flies over.
These are the regulations of some of the largest airlines.
American Airlines: Dogs and cats are allowed in the cabin. Prior arrangements are necessary. Supplement charged. Maximum carrier dimensions-23 "L x 13 "W x 9" H. You must check in at the ticket counter.
Delta Airlines: Prior arrangements are necessary. Supplement charged. Dogs, cats, ferrets and rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs are allowed. Contact Delta maximum size companies. Health certificate required. Be entered into the ticket counter.
Northwest Airlines: Prior arrangements are necessary. Supplement charged. Dogs, cats and birds allowed in cabin. Animal & Company must weigh less than 15 pounds. Full-size company 17 "L x 12" W x 8 "H. necessary health certificate.
United Airlines: Prior arrangements are necessary. Extra fee charged. Dogs, cats and birds are allowed. Company Size Maximum: 17 "L x 10" W x 10 "H. necessary health certificate.
U.S. Airways: Prior arrangements are necessary. Supplement charged. Dogs, cats and birds are allowed. Health certificate required. Maximum carrier dimensions-17 "L x 16 "W x 10" H (soft face) and 17 "L x 16" W x 8 "H (hard-sided)
Continental Airlines: dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and allowed. Supplement charged. Maximum carrier dimensions-16 "L x 12" W x 8.75 "H. veterinary certification.
Southwest Airlines: Dogs and Pets allowed. Supplement charged. Carrier and his own hand. Be entered into the ticket counter. Operators can be hard or soft face.
Frontier Airlines Champion Air, MaxJet Airways: No pets allowed in cabin. Service animals.
